This weekend was our first anniversary. My how time flies when you are having fun. It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was reviewing invitation layouts, stressing about the dress, having to leave work every day to run an errand, overdosing on Ativan…
Then sometimes, it feels like forever. We went out for a nice dinner on Saturday night, had a nice bottle of wine, and made a list of things we remember from the year. The good, the bad, the sad, the concerts, the big purchases, the things that broke, the things we fixed. We even tried to remember the things we fought about…And we couldn’t recall anything. They say the first year is the hardest, and if that is true we are in for a really great marriage.
